A Hamilton, ON-based travel agency announced today that they are commencing scheduled (or I assume public charter) air service from Niagara Falls International Airport in New York under the name GoSVO.com. Starting December 17 & 18, weekly flights will begin to Orlando, Cancun, and Punta Cana. The airport currently has no passenger air service. According to the website, flights will be operated by a Florida-based airline utilizing B-727-200 or B-737-300 aircraft. It does not name the airline anywhere. Possibly Miami Air?? The NFTA (airport operator) has been trying to revitalize the airport in some way. They hope to attract Canadian & Western New York travellers. Advertising free parking and no congestion as opposed to Toronto Pearson. I wish them luck with the operation, especially during these financially strapped times.

Hmmmm... I wonder if that's legal to deny transportation to someone based upon their national origin?
xkorpyoh, you are probably thinking of when Kiwi Int'l flew into IAG in the early 90's. Don't recall how much flying was there, or if it was truly a minihub.
