The FAA is investigating an aircraft that struck a Safety Harbor mobile home.
A piece of Delta Air Lines Flight 432 dropped from the sky yesterday....
I know there is already a topic on this, but I think that the way that this station is covering the story is very inapproiate for a news station. What do you think?
BTW, for you South Florida people, this is the Bill Kamal station, so they've been through a lot!

Yes I find this very inappropriate on how they are covering this story also this was not a plane crash it was just a piece of material falling of a plane and hitting a piece of property. If I was the editor for this news station I would look over this again and have it removed.

So an aircraft struck a house with no injuries (a 767 let alone)? What did these people who wrote this do during journalism school?

I'd go to the station's site and leave feedback....
Reporting it the way they did made about as much sense as reporting on a car going down the street that loses a hubcap into someone's yard and then calling that a traffic accident...
What some stations will do for ratings...
(Sorry Bruce, I know not all stations are like this, but these folks hit a nerve...)

Thats good old channel 7 for you. Exagerrations, incorrect stories, all the trademark of that station. During the hurricane threats theis year, it was sad watching them. Ridiculous. Then Jackie Johnson left... No need to say any more.

Another Shocking Story...I refuse to watch their newscasts, they are full of it. The Billy Kamal story was a swift kick in the privates for them. They can hardly get any aviation related issues right.

MAH...I know that WSVN did not write the article, but I'm sure they are able to change it or refuse posting it at all. Although, its not like most people will know any better!

Umm, This would be called an incident not a crash by standards set forth. If the lave blue dumped on a passing a/c is that considered a crash??? Think not.
