Fedex has purchased 10 aircraft from various leasing companies including Airbus, GATX and GECAS.
These are aircraft are :
3 MD11s previously operated by Varig
1 A310-300 previously operated by Regionair
4 A310-300s previously operated by Khalifa
2 A310-300s previously operated by Aeroflot
1 A310-300 previously operated by Transaero
**This is in addition to the 8 MD 11s it bought from Delta 3-4 weeks ago.
