US Airways posted a 3rd quarter loss of $232 million dollars, citing rising fuel costs and the hurricane season.

Interesting side note on the article...Southwest's CEO Gary Kelly said that "we would absolutely" be interested in buying some of US Airways assets

Wow! The unions still don't get it.  Sad How can the union bosses delude the rank and file that there is any significant chance of retaining their jobs following a strike?

Even though its another blow to US, at least its good to see that the CWA and IAM are listening to proposals, instead of just firmly saying no.
