I was spotting yesterday at ORD (10/28), and i was wondering if AA downgraded a lot of there international routes out of ORD. Because i didn't see a lot of AA 777's. Before I used to see lots of 777's but it seemed like yesterday i only saw like 3-4. Anyone know if they downgraded many of there flights or did i just miss a lot of them.
Also, anyone know if there are more airlines planning on starting service to ORD, especially the international airlines. I know Pakistan just started service, does anyone how many times a week it flies to ORD.

Since AA introduced the 777, the only routes that use it out of ORD are to LHR and NRT. The widebodies that have disappeared from ORD in the last few years are the DC-10-30s used for HNL service (retirement), the 767-200s used for West Coast routes (retirement) and the 767-200ERs, used for West Coast and European routes (transferred to transcon routes).
I think AA usually adds 1 LHR roundtrip during the summer, so that 777 may have disappeared after September 30.
I believe that AA is adding another destination to Japan next spring, and would like to and Shanghai. There has also been talk of flying to Hong Kong from ORD, possibly next year. If that all comes to fruition, there will be several more 777s at ORD next year.

AA isn't really flying too many 777 domestically. There is one to DFW that departs at 1800, flt 67. AA is so heavy with the MD80's. LHR and NRT are the only other routes that I can find in availability where the 777 is flying.

ATWZW170,
Where are you looking? AA still has 777's scheduled to LAX, ORD (LHR), and MIA on 777's (domestically). They also fly DFW-LGW and FRA on a 777.

Thanks for the information on the AA 777's and the PIA flight to ORD.
Does anyone no how the PIA flight is doing to ORD. With only one flight a week that must not be a good sign. Are the loads doing well or no. Doesn't EL AL Israel now fly there 777's to ORD to? Anyone no what days the EL AL Israel flight operates to ORD. Ive been to ORD many times and yet to ever see a EL AL Israel at ORD so they must not fly there often.

I took a 772 from DFW-LAX. Saw alot of the T7 at LAX. Awesome plane! Most flights out of ORD to Europe, with exception of LHR, are being operated by 763. Go to JFK to see T7 fleet from AA.

NZblue....PIA is a bit strange on the ORD flights. In fact, my family were planning on leaving on Saturady (11-13-2004), but they ended it just last week (I still have my own reservation for Saturday 11-13-2004..which obviously needs to be changed now).....until only a couple of weeks ago, they were doing a 2x/weekly flight from ORD, one on Wednesday and one on Saturday. One flight was ORD-MAN-KHI and the other one was
ORD-MAN-ISB-KHI
According to the travel agent, they have reinstated the Sat. 11-06-2004 flight but no other subsequent Saturday flights.

what I meant was that PIA ended the Saturday flight, thus they needed to change their traveling days, and for some reason, my record locater number still gives the Saturday flight, which obviously needs to be changed since they are not flying that Sat. route..
