Why Is MNL-AMS Longer Then SIN-AMS?

Scheduled flying time for MNL-AMS is 14.00hrs.
For SIN-AMS that is 13.25hrs, yet the GCM shows that Manila is closer in distance to
AMS than Singapore, respectively 10426km and 10516km.
I wonder why it takes 35minutes more flying time.
I know KLM uses the T7 to MNL wich has a lower cruise-speed than the 744 to SIN, but
is that the only reason??

At least it sounds to me like a very good reason. If you cruise slower, you'll arrive later.

The times you stated are probably block times, which includes time for taxiing, the actual flight, small delays, etc, and not the actual flying time.

AMS is quite a busy airport so there might be slot problems; this could explain why the difference.
