OK .. Dep YQM 0720 am (thats 0620 LGA time) ARR LGA 1100 am . Thats just
under 5 hours , thats very convenient ! NOT !
The flight looks like it ops thru YYZ by the sounds of it , all pax will have to get off , preclear USA customs , get back on the same plane , then carry onto NEW YORK . Nothing different than what pax do now on AC or WJ .

CanJet is being very misleading with this announcement. It's impossible to have direct (non-stop or one-stop) YQM-LGA service. The YQM-YYZ flight would arrive in the domestic gates of YYZ, then they would have to tow the plane to the transborder gate area. The passengers who arrived in YYZ would have to deplane, go to the USA area, clear immigration and customs (with their bags) and then re-board. This is no different than a regular connection in Toronto with different flight numbers.

I don't think CanJet is being misleading at all. If you read the newsrelease you can see that it says "regular scheduled service." The passengers do have to disembark and go through customs just like AC's flight to SYD that stops in HNL. But anyway the schedule from YQM-LGA is routed through YYZ and is as follows.
