N801DL is headed for World Airways to continue life as a passenger plane, according to a WO press release. It will join 803DL and 804DL already there. This will give World a fleet of 12 MD-11s, three of them freighters, and they are getting two more freighters next Spring (origin unknown to me).

Good for DL and good for World. Now if DL could just unload the rest of those leased planes.

Good, finally a MD-11 that won't be converted to freight work. I would suspect that World needs this for USA military transport needs? How did they get this instead of FedEx or some other Freighter airline?
