Air Canada has cancelled its Delhi nonstop through tomorrow because of the volcano.

Anybody else got local effects to report?

i wonder why we never heard of this here in the US... hmm... i'd love trying to explain to pax why thier flight was cancelled. sorry sir, you can't go anywhere today. we're not flying because a volcano erupted. oh god, i can nearly imagine it! so glad i work on the ramp... Big grin

AC flight 054 was delayed 12 hours yesterday because of the volcano.

Strange they didn't mention the BA 747 incident over Indonesia in that article (from the BBC no less!), making it sound like the Redoubt incident is the only time a plane has flown through a volcanic ash cloud...
