I just checked AA's website and it no longer had the 777 listed going from LAX-DFW for late next year. As in next September as I am looking to take a trip going through DFW on that 777. Is this true or is it just that they just dont have current information on their website??

I did a bit of looking on AA's website and for that route the last flight operated by a 777 is on the 30th of April. After that it's all 738's, 763's, and MD-80's. I would have to say that these a/c are going to be moved as to allow for the summer season. Unless AA has some routes that these 777's would be needed on, Sorry but I'm not too "down" wiht AA's exact routes.
This is like the SFO-IAD route for UA. You can get a 757, A319, 763, or even a 777. The 777's becoming less and less every time I check, or so it seems! Having just looked on their site it seems like the 777 has been removed from that route completely. But, The SFO-ORD route has the biggest mix. An A319/20, 2 777's, 1 757, 1 763, and 1 744! Each day (round trip).

Maybe they will need the 777 on new routes for next year. I know they are going to have at least one new route form DFW and a one from ORD. I'm sure with the new terminal in DFW they might add some more but unsure at this time.
