The new NBA Charlotte Bobcats played their first game at home last night. It got me thinking. I wonder what their team plane looks like or if they have one yet and what kind is it? Billionaire BET owner Robert Johnson owns the Bobcats so I would imagine he got a plane for the team.
Most teams have a team plane for example here is just a few different teams...

Purely going off of a preseason game held on the 24th of October, it looks like the Bobcats are using Champion Air 727-200s as one flew IAD-CLT late that evening.
Couple of noteworthy items I've seen so far with regards to the NBA team planes:
1. Sacramento has changed to Pace 737-400s this year instead of the Sky King 737-200s. Not sure if this happened last year, but they flew Pace into HOU the other night for their matchup Saturday here.
2. The Houston Rockets have their own 727-200, N104HR, an ex American Airlines plane. I've yet to see it myself as they've been on the road to start the season. Should be back in late tonight from MEM.
3. Memphis Grizzlies are using Champion Air 727-200s based on the flights from IND-GRB last week for a game against the Bucks...
"Irregardless, it's a Cat III airplane, we don't need an alternate!"
