YEREVAN-BEIRUT Question?

just out of curiosity i was looking at random flights and found the following

Armenian International Airways
MV 345 Yerevan (EVN), Yerevan, Armenia 07:30
Beirut Int'l (BEY), Beirut, Lebanon 10:50
Non-stop
320 5h20min

Return flight
Armenian International Airways
MV 346 Beirut Int'l (BEY), Beirut, Lebanon 12:10
Yerevan (EVN), Yerevan, Armenia 16:00
Non-stop
320 1h50min

outwards if 5:30hours return is almost 2 hours??? how is that??

Next destinations, Suarabaya, beirut, paris, Accra

The flight from Yerevan (EVN) makes a stop in Athens (ATH), that's why. It's not mentioned in the schedules, but it does.

However no worries, Armenian International Airways is going to be shutting down, so starting January 5, Armenia's other carrier, Armavia will be taking over the route and it will be non-stop both directions.

Beirut Int'l (BEY), Beirut, Lebanon 22:55
Non-stop

Armavia

Flight operates on Wednesdays and returns on Thursdays.

It appears MV will be shutting down at the end of December as U8 will be taking over all their routes.
