Could someone please explain why there is a CRJ-900 in the Star Alliance livery? I'm going by what the photographer said and the fact the the aircraft on the left has two cargo doors. To my knowledge, the only CRJ with the two forward cargo doors is the CRJ-900.

Hmmmmmm, Mesa Airlines flying CRJ-900 for USAirways? As you know YV is the only operator of the -900 and they are still taking deliveries for the next year or two and with Airways loosing their financing for the EMB-170's maybe they have a new deal with YV to supply some additional lift. Anyone else have any ideas?

Bombardier supplied these aircraft for AC to show to their high profile customers prior to the order of the CRJ705 (which is really a CRJ 900 with fewer seats), and EMB190. Almost like a giant focus group - I believe they also took the customers on test flights.
