Delta used to service OAJ, I flew that many times on the EMB 120, long flight....I see they are still pretty healthy in ILM with CRJ's...I remember when it was ATR-72 service! I can't believe that US still has mainline flights into ILM...that's a city that will be cut soon to express only! Didn't DL announce this service awhile ago?

The MCO-TYS will most likely be a reltively high fare route for the distance. Most air travel out of TYS is expensive.

They will have to match the fares of Indy Air out of TYS. At least until they go away.

Uh Knoxville is not part of the Tri-Cities. The Tri-Cities are Johnson City, Bristol, and Kingsport, TN and those three cities are served by TRI. TYS is about 2 hours south of TRI.

Just for clarification:

Tri-Cities, TN = TRI
Knoxville, TN = TYS

Independence Air does not serve TRI...they do however serve TYS.

Beginning December 1st, DL Connection will fly both TRI-MCO (1x daily) and TYS-MCO (2x daily).

Finally Reno get's back mainline Delta service!

I personally think that Reno is underserved!
I would like to see nonstop service to Detroit (NW), Newark (CO), Miami (AA) and Vancouver (AC)! Also Jetblue would be great in Reno (service to LGB and JFK!!!!)

The fare between TYS and MCO will be fairly cheap since Independence also serves that route. Delta is trying to take some of that traffic away from Independence.
