So I just bought some tickets on CX for a SFOHKG roundtrip next year. There are 4 of us (two couples).

Right now I have seats 67HK and 68HK.... I like these cuz they are in the tail area where there are only two seats, not three. So there is privacy.... BUT I am worried about the lavatories... is this a "congregating" area? Lines of people doing the "I have to pee dance"?

And how bad is the unloading from this far back? (Does HKG use two jetways?)

Think its better just to do three seats and then the one across the aisle?

All your help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Wilco

I would say that you have decent seats. As seatguru points out, the cabin narrows, but there is extra room between the seats and the window, so it is a bit more spacious...sideways...not front to back. However, it is near the lavs, so that could be noisy. If people congregate around there, that could be annoying too. Plus you cannot lean against the wall of the aircraft as it is not right next to the seat. They are nice in the aspect that you don't have any middle seats too.

I once flew JFK-YVR-HKG in 68D. There's definitely congregation in that area due to the proximity of the lavatories, and, in my experience, many elderly pax who weren't shy about hanging on to the back of my seat while waiting their turn. I'd consider getting a row of four across a bit forward in the plane.
