Wow...these are lovely pictures. thanks!
This got me thinking...does the test plane that they fly around to gather data on fully furnished? I mean does it have overhead bins and all seats and stuff like that?

Gigneil's right. I wouldn't pretend having taken those pics myself, as they come from http://www.airbus.com/A380.
(I do work in the aeronautical field, but on the military side )
This site answers Hawaijahaz's question. I quote:
Mini-cabins will be installed on Airbus’ three flight test A380. No passenger seats are being fitted, as they are not required for the aircraft to perform flight tests. Engineers expect to complete installation of the cabins in all three aircraft on schedule.
The mini cabin consists of interior furnishings – such as side walls and ceiling panels – galley, lavatory and overhead stowage bins and is installed in a small section of the aircraft’s upper fuselage, close to the cockpit area. For the second flying A380, a flight crew rest compartment will also be installed. The mini cabin set of components also includes stairs for the cockpit, forward and rear fuselage.

I always thought they should have made front windows in the upper deck, then you would have a splendid view. Airlines could sell those seats at triple rates or more I guess...

Well that's a splendid idea!
On the 747 nose big cockpit style windows would be even better. Can some photoshop artist fix that one on a KLM744, I promise I'll forward it as a request to structures engineering

Would it really make sense to build windows into the E&E compartment??
I think computers just wouldn´t appreciate the view and so Airbus decided not to build front windows in the A380 thus reducing weight and complexity.

Those passenger doors open in a strange way don't they? Most large Aircraft I flew have doors that open to the inside, with the door opening being more narrow towards the edge of the plane, made so the door wedges into the side of the aircraft, thus helping prevent opening due to pressure differences. These pictures show that the doors must open outward. Just wondering if the pictures were deceiving or Airbus has a new door design.
Congress SUCKS. Get rid of them ALL in 2010. GuitrThree you ask? A STAR to BNA I live under! (Now GuitrFour)
26 RedDragon: That's how all Airbus doors work, along with those on the 777. Boeing narrowbodies and the 747, along with the DC-8 and DC-9 families, have the kind o
27 GuitrThree: Ok, thank's for clearing that up.. I was on a U.S. Airways A320 and a Ted Airbus in September and didn't notice that... Being that I usually Fly Delta
28 Jetjeanes: Do you guys thing these engines with be able to handle this A/c... This is not a light aircraft...I guess we will know after a few test flight...
29 TFJamie: I'd sure like to be that test captain! Flying the largest aircraft in the world for the first time. There is maybe one man in each generation that can

31 Braybuddy: Already it looks fantastic, and come the stretched version it'll be the best looking bird in the sky . . .
32 SNATH: No, it's not just you. I was thinking the ceiling "looked" low for a twin-aisle cabin, when compared to the height of the people in the cabin, as well
33 Manzoori: Jetjeanes, The aircraft will be powered by 4 Trent 900s... massive and very powerful engines... It'll fly! Anyone know how well the GP7000 is doing? C
35 ZKOJH: its one BIG bird , will this mean more of a toilet cue on the long haul runs!!!
36 GuitrThree: That things so big they can put both men and women's restrooms in with multiple stalls in each!!!!
37 CRPilot: Are the cool "Titanic like" stairs suppose to be in the front or the aft of the aircraft?
38 TACAA320: Quite impressive indeed. But ... Definitely I prefer the B747 or the triple 7.
39 Flaps: Looks really tight on both head and shoulder room on that upper deck. May be a trick of perspective but the outside shots confirm one hell of a sidewa
40 RedDragon: The Titanic-like main stairway is going to be at the front of the aircraft, leading from the number one (lower-deck) doors up to the front of the uppe

43 BrightCedars: The pictures of the upper deck really make it look like it's not going to be comfortable to be a passenger up there. Also looks like they're planning
