I'm planning a trip from osl-MSP, and most likely I'm going with CO from OSL-EWR-MSP
I wondered if anyone know how the service are on CO's route from OSL-EWR?
They are using a b752. How many inches are there between the seats? What about the flight entertainment?

31" Pitch and a width of 17.2"

As for IFE, you will have the drop down monitors and depending on your time of travel will dictate what movies they show.

Also, on the EWR-MSP or MSP-EWR you may be on a Northwest aircraft. Have a good trip and the observation deck at MSP is located at Terminal D, its kinda hidden but its there.  Big thumbs up

you can expect great service. but if the aircraft is full kinda croweded...we show 2 movies on the way from osl and then continental vision. the people from osl seem to be bigger in a good way than most people that is why i say it could be a little cramped....dont forget we charge for liquor also 5 us if i can remember right 25 or 35 or your money....its been awhile so i could be wrong on that

 Sad

dont forget we charge for liquor

 Sad

NW or KL would put you OSL-AMS-MSP, and booze are free.

 Smile

NW and KL offer free alcoholic beverages to all fare classes I believe

 Smile

According to http://www.qixo.com fares for KL and NW flights from OSL-MSP are both cheaper than the CO flight offered.

Not me! beeing 193cm (6'4) and 95kg (210lbs) I had the pleasure of sitting in the middle of the 5 seater on a DC-10 from AMS to MSP this summer. The only good thing, was that it was on the very front row of the rear coach section, so lots of legroom. But anyway, never again. The return on KL MD-11 was even worse. Aisle-seat on the center-section.

Next trip, I'll go back to my regular route, OSL-ARN-ORD-CWA. SK's service is pretty decent, and alkohol is free. You have to pay for Champagne, but that is ok. SK's 333 are quite nice, and ORD is always worth a visit.

I've been flying osl-msp 18 times. Have to say that klm/northwest are really good. But I got the chance to go with CO for free, because one of my friends offered me a trip.

But the fares are actually cheaper on CO. 3398NOK/539USD tax inkl.
Must say I agree with Mikkel777, SAS does have a great service!

Note also that on the EWR-MSP flight you might be on an ERJ-145XR. Some people love them, some people hate them. To me, they're ok, but having flown EWR-MSP and back, 3 hours is a lot of time to spend in such a narrow little tube. Try to get a CO mainline flight if possible--they use 737s to MSP once or twice a day.

The big jet is setup with international connections in the afternoon.....you will arrive in EWR at 1400 and leave EWR at 1535 on the 735.....so it all works out!!!

Ah, that makes sense that the 737s would be timed to connect with the European arrival/departure banks. In that case, never mind my post about the ERJ...you should have a great trip on CO!  Smile
