Low Cost Ops At AMS

I was reading in this months Airliner World that Swiss LCC Helvetic Airways is the latest low-cost carrier to cut services from AMS. Why are the low cost carriers withdrawing from AMS? Are there high landing fees? What other airlines have made cut backs?
