I'm sure it's been discussed before, but when is UA gonna have one of the 744 painted with the new livery?

I have heard towards the end of the month. I believe it may already be in AMA!

I can't wait to see it, the first person that gets a pic of the UA 744 with new livery on here first should be proud.

I read yesterday on a-net that N196UA will be the first one done in the new livery. I'll bet that it's the a/c used on the inaugural SFO-HKG-SGN run on 12/9.

AA777jr, please use search function for ONCE.

Originally, it was supposed to be N194UA getting painted, but I checked rotation tonight at work and it shows that N196UA is at AMA for now. When it comes out, I hope to be the first one who nails it.

Alex.

The new UNITED decal has a striking similarity with the 1980s decal and that design was on many 744's.

The search feature for previously discussed topics isn't very specific on here, it's hard to find something that hasn't be discussed to death on here, if your not on this site every hour on the hour like some people.

Unimatic said it will depart AMA on December 3rd.

If I remember I will try to get a schedule when it gets closer.
