The photo was taken at GoodYear AZ. There are quite a few birds stored out there. DL had 23 737-200's there at one time. Last time I was there USAirways had three A 319's parked.
I will be there in mid Feb.......again.....

Wasn't FX looking for some 737F's? I read somewhere that they bought some or picked up leased birds from UA, perhaps this is one of them? I just hope UA is getting something out of it, rather than just losing an aircraft...

I guess it's in Beijing at Ameco for maintenance before being delivered to it's new operator - not sure if Ameco does pax-to-cargo conversions as well, but that could have been done at quite a few points in the world.
Eventually, it's owners will simply have gotten the best maintenance deal from Ameco - explaining why the plane is in Beijing: this does not give any indication whether it's new operator will be an Asian airline.
