A while ago i remember checking the site to see the seat avialability on flights. Now there's a login screen protecting that site. Why and is there any other sites where i can check seat avialability?

Thanks in advance.

I used to go to ual.com and it would let me look at seats before making a purchase, but not anymore. Every site will let you do it post-purchase. This might be a good reason to make friends with someone who works directly on Sabre or Amadeus.

Keep on truckin'...

I personally use the ITN site if I can't get it from the airlines themselves. I've been able to get seatmaps for AA, DL, NW, and CO from their websites, for UA, US and others, I just use ITN (the AMEX site linked above).

the only ones I've been able to get were DL and AA (directly)...also there is a site if you know the flight number, city pairs, and dates for DL ONLY! (it really saves time if you are just looking for fun or have multiple destination scenarios):
