Does anyone know for how long SQ154/5 and 162/3 (both SIN-CGK-SIN) will be operated by the 345?

Word here in CGK is that the A345 is here to stay, as SQ uses the flights to allow its pilots to obtain minimum landings on the aircraft type. The flights used to more popular that SQ's 6 other daily flights here, but now that the initial hype has gone, it's just another SQ flight.

Ah good! When I'm next in SIN, I foresee a wee trip.  Wink/being sarcastic

Be prepared to pay top $$$, as SQ are by far the most expensive on the route. Other flights are much cheaper as they are often tag-ons onto longhaul flights. You could go in a KL or LH 744 for half the price SQ is charging. EK's or TG's 777s are to be had even cheaper. But then again, you're probably going for the 345.

What I'd probably do is fly out on the 345 (SQ154) and then return in the evening on a different airline, like KL or LH or whatever. Do you know the prices of KL or LH? I have checked LH's fares and its one-way ones are very expensive (over 200 EUR) and I can't get KL's. (SQ's one-way fares are about half its return fares, which is good.)
