I am taking that it is not flying anymore, when was it taken out of service? Why did they stop flying it? Has SAA gotten rid of their 743's? It was such a beautiful paint scheme and am sad that I havent seen any shots of it lately. Any information on its last flight and why it was taken out of service would be appreciated!

I saw a photo of her at LHR not too long ago.

I believe it has since been taken out of service, maybe I am wrong.

Maybe it had a technical problem? I remember Najanii Dreaming was not flying for a while for technical problems.

I believe SAA has retired all their 747 classics. They only fly 744's to LON, all other intercontinental routes have been taken over by the 340 family.

You can see it parked near SAA Technical. A little more to the right and ZS-SAC is parked as well...

I think ZS-SAM (SAA's 747-200) has gone to oprate for Civair on the CPT-STN route but I cannot confirm this.
