Caution wake turbulence, you are following a heavy jet.

Im starting to think the new colours are ok, but they still look unfinished, and kind of boring. Not enough colours(almost the whole thing is praticly one colour), and it doesn't look very creative. I like the old ones better.
Compared to Canadi>n's goose, Canadian North's polar bear, First Air's stripes, Qantas' kangaroo, and so on, it seems very uncreative.

I feel the same as some of you, it definitely feels unfinished mainly because of the plain white engines and winglets. A touch of colour on the engines and the winglets would break the monotony of the all white body.
Also, on the same note does anybody else think that the new commercials are rather dull? The jingle is catchy, Celine makes it work, but the imagery is so uninspired, uninspiring and dull. They should have chosen luscious, colourful, lively, images to depict the beauty of Canada from East to West, or the magic of such destinations as Paris or London. I wanted something to inspire me to jump on a plane right now and go to Halifax, or Montreal, or Vancouver, or maybe Hong Kong or London. Instead we got drab, lifeless shots.

They could have done sooooooo much more with this paint scheme... It's a shame. Pant the winglets; Something on the engine covers; More colour on the underbelly.... It almost seems as though they're holding out on us. If the aim was to infuriate, they've succeeded.

I agree that the winglets need some color. Also, the fuselage of the 767 looks like it has more color than in the A340, but of course that could all be the light and way that it is striking the a/c. Other than that, I think it looks good.

Looks good, I like the new colours
Anybody know its first service in the new colours?
25 Ourboeing: Hope they put some decent colors to their in-flight service on these flights as that is the only way they could have these "giant tubes of minty fresh
26 TJCAB: >> The new colours are starting to grow on me.... what colors?
27 FRAspotter: Does anyone know when the first AC 744 will be in the new colors? That will look pretty cool... Cheers....
28 ChrisA330: AC no longer has any B744s in the fleet. The last Combi was retired from service a few weeks ago. 2 of them are being coverted into an all freighter c
29 Lymanm: FRAspotter you like the 3rd person this week asking about that exact same thing. AC retired their 747s last month. If you are being sarcastic, awesome
30 Solnabo: Just awesome beautiful! Way to go AC "Guess who"
31 N754PR: Looks horrid, less colours than the old scheme.
32 JGPH1A: Sad tedious pitiful colour scheme. As has been stated, great for tube of toothpaste, no good for an airline. DO-OVER !!
33 RT514: Yes, the new AC colors are dull and uninspired and certainly can't compare with the exciting color schemes of airlines like CO and AF. I think that th
34 JetBlast: I like it! Especially the tail! But I do think that the winglets need a little color... JetBlast @ BWI
35 Danny: I have just added few shots to the database - search for C-FYLU and enjoy Daniel
36 Md11dude: So, anyone know when the A-330 gets the pâint? I assume whenever the next Overhaul....
37 Olympus69: I agree about the winglets. They need some colour - even if it's just a red or green maple leaf.
38 GerbenVogel: Nice colours and that on a 340-300.
39 Brink777: Ugly the old colours were much better, UAalso is ugly both should have kept the old colours![Edited 2004-11-23 22:20:01]
41 Sunnyb: Ehh.. bad pic. You can't really see the blue haze.. It looks like just the tail is different.. Oh well. THE BLUE COLOURS ARE VISIBLE ON THIS PIC: Link
42 N766UA: Well, except for the tail... it still looks like absolute total crap. What's the point of a blue tint, anyway? I mean, I can't see it at all but if I
43 Luv2fly: I think it looks great and nice to not see an all white bird for once.
44 Cessnapimp: See... my problem is... ...when the veil fell down to reveal the new AC colours at the ceremony, Céline started immediately blaring her new tune. So
45 MissedApproach: It is a plain plane. It's not bad, just...yawn. Maybe we could get that nutbar who jumped the fence naked in LA to jump the fence in Toronto with a c
46 Rikkus67: Hey everyone ...take a look closely at Sunnyb's picture. If you look closely at the winglets, they have the same variated colors as the green on the t
47 Pilotaydin: the first plane did look like the paste...this new pic with the blue...well it just looks like the airplane is frozen....it's a big canadian icicle! s
48 Flug: The tail looks like a can of Molsen Canadian beer.
49 RJ111: Calling it a "paint scheme" is being a bit generous, its hardly a scheme. The old one was gorgeous, especially on the A345, bring it back.
50 TRACON: Given the right lighting, the blue tint can look quite spectacular. I think shes a pretty bird. -Tracon
51 LS17031: "The tail looks like a can of Molsen Canadian beer." Try Molson, they make a much better beer than Molsen. I say it's Labatt Blue product placement! C
52 LongHauler: To me, it's a lot like the new Northwest paint scheme in that pictures do not do it justice. When I saw the first NW paint scheme picture, I thought,
