Rumors continue about HP taking on ATA's routes and aircraft for a buy-out/merger deal. My question is, what would happen to ATA's 737-800s etc? HP already operates the 757 so ATA's 57s would fit nicely, the 737-800s though are all brand new. Would HP take them on as well?

I've heard Continental has been showing interest in thr 738s. HP's main interests are the 757s (especially the -200s), ATA's ETOPS program, a presence at MDW and a few routes including Hawaii and the Carribean.
