Now that Virgin Atlantic has gained two of Cathay Pacific's 747-200s, they will be one of the only British airlines operating the 747 with Rolls Royce engines. (British Airways being one of the others) The planes are registered G-VRUM and G-VCAT. Does anyone have the names for those? I know that Virgin does name thier planes. Ex: G-VJFK - "Boston Belle" I think G-VRUM is named "California Queen" but if you can prove me wrong, please feel free to. Thanks!

G-VRUM is named "Calypso Queen" and G-VCAT is "Wild Thing". (G-VLAX is "California Girl").
Virgin's only 747-100 G-VMIA "Spirit of Sir Freddie" will be retired within the next day or two when G-VBEE enters service. This is one of five -200's Virgin is getting from Air New Zealand.
