I just watched this picture (#718746), and I cleared see a 747 in RG colors in the background. And is surely a RG plane, just compares with the actual C/S (as for the light blue/dark blue line between blue and white) of this triple seven. This has been already discussed before here, that RG would get 4 747 in the next months?

Any more pictures available, information????? I didn't found new pictures of this plane.

Hi,

Judging from the engines and the location I would say that this aircraft is an ex-KLM B747-200(SUD). These have recently been disposed of and some have found (or are in the process of being prepared for) new homes. I could be wrong but I do not believe VARIG is in the market for any such machines and therefore this aircraft is probably going to some other lessor known carrier (could be cargo or pax) whose scheme is similar. (I did a quick search on A.Net but came up with nothing).

Hope this helps.

Regards,

SevenHeavy

Well, thanks for the posts!!!!

Unfortunately, RG will not have new 747 for now, as I expected!!!!

Sorry about the mistake.... that's what happens when they don't paint the planes.....
