Niiiiice. Especially the tan engine cowlings. The whole thing is very modern. Sometimes I think designers go over the top in an attempt to advance the cutting edge (ie British Midland, Virgin Atlantic, and most of all the latest tweak to Austrian's livery), this hits the spot perfick.
I agree, the previous version ain't happenin' at all. Whoo-hee.

Something is wrong when modified airliner photo guys are coming up with better liveries than the design firms airlines pay so much for crappy, tasteless liveries as of late like TUi, PIA, JAT, Air Canada... etc, etc, etc
Love the livery! Much more elaborate than usual, looks great on the 737! Those kind of liveries look great on short, fatter planes like the 737s because there is less white.
Looks like Shaheen didn't have an original livery of their own before, since that TU-154 has the basic Belavia livery.

PIAs new livery is a joke and an insult to the Airline Livery-painting business plain and simple!!!
Any tom, dick and harry can come up with an all white livery with different shades of it and paint Pakistan on it!!! Obviously the management seems to be wanting to save extra money spent on painting a better livery on their aircraft than this. Worst is that aircraft such as AB4s and B 74Ms that are leaving in 2005/2006 respectively are also being painted in the new livery which I find a total WASTE OF MONEY.
This new Shaheen Air livery is indeed a GF Traveller rip off if u ask me!!!
I respect the opinions of all of you, particularly enjoyed the "thumbs-up" from all white-is-not-right bashers. Agreed, but when original, unique and different. Here unfortunately, it's plagiarism at its worst!

I didn't even know they were still around. Shaeen used to have a very weird fleet policy going from Airbus to Tupolevs and Yaks and back. I know they made some headlines in 2000 for continously not paying any leasing rates until the leasing firm had enough and send a few crews down to fly their planes out.
Livery is okay and certainly every aviation fan's with photoshop knowledge dream come true. still better than that infamous euro-white.

Shaheen Air is the Airline, which never be consistent in their performance. They even introduced in their fleet 737-400, Airbus A300, MD-83 (probably) but their reliability is below standard. Sometimes they are high flyer and sometimes they disappear. I do not have any trust that whether their fleet will be on time or not, when cancelled etc.
Presently again they are active and offering low fares between Lahore and Karachi. Hopefully with this new livery they will improve their service and be able to provide services consistently, which is more important. In my opinion, they have the potential to become largest airline after PIA.
Also on their web site A320 mentioned as 737 with capacity of 168 passenger. This was probably 737-400 as mentioned above but they might not get any photograph of that plane as according to my knowledge they never used A320.

The intended meaning of "foul" in the topic is the same as foul in football. They have "clearly" pinched JAT's wing on the tail, seriously the similarity is a bit too much, otherwise the eagle/falcon could have been applied some other way.

I agree with GF-A330 that it is a near identical copy to Gulf traveler, but it is a hell of a lot better an colour scheme that the new PIA livery. It shows some adventure and an indication that the airline is moving forward by rebranding itself, whereas the new PIA scheme is dull, unadventurous, and unoriginal. It is nice to see smaller, independent carriers making the effort to fill the void that the state owned, flag carriers have left.
25 Bar032: Hi! "Shaheen" is Persian and means falcon. It menas "kingish". I don't know if the word means eagle or falcon in Urdu though. /BAR032
