EK's website shows EK751 currently operating on a daily basis (except Mondays) with A343s, but from 27/03/04 an A332 will be used instead. No sign on the second daily flight but it could be announced in the next few weeks if it is planned.

JoKeR, I haven't heard anything about ADL, but I guess its the most logical next step to their growth in Oz (besides increasing frequency on current routes). I heard that they were looking at Wellington as their next NZ destination (after Auckland and Christchurch). But let me stress this is just a rumour and nothing firm.

Well, Im not really sure, the Newspaper clearly stated that Emirates is to DOUBLE its frequencies, which means a double daily. Im still doubdting that will happen, there apparently 2 reason for this is, one is the fact that Emirates is seen as the Prefered and fastest airline to the get to the middle east, but also to Asia. Second is it gets loads of west-africans headed to the middle east or Asia, connect through CMN to get to the Asia/Pacific region.
I have flown EK to singapore (April), and I almost went for Lufthansa since I tried to book a month and a half in advance but it was fully booked. I cant recall seeing a single free seat either on the way to DXB or on the way back.
but great flight though, Service was excellent and the food was ok.

Wellington is the most beautiful city in New Zealand, apart from Queenstown of course! However, having landed in Wellington myself, I am somewhat hesitant in saying that Wellington airport can accommodate larger aircraft than the 763s. Never saw an ie. a 747 land there?
