Yeah....what a mess at work today.
Very nasty winds/crosswinds at the airport....not that this doesnt happen here at TEB often because its common. Pilots basically wrestling their planes to the ground.....passengers puking....lol you get the idea.
This GIV was landing....crew was correcting for the crosswind with right wing down.....they got lower and the right wing nearly struck the runway....the crew noticed and increased power to their right engine...the plane leveled off....they appeared to be attempting to abort the landing and do a go-around...but then evidently realized they couldnt and decided to plant it back down on the runway....hit the breaks....locked up and skidded down....departed the right side of the runway and off into the grass and trees....fortunately no death or major injury....just some scrapes and bruises....could have been worse.

I felt like double posting this because I didn't see this thread first:
I flew into TEB yesterday on our corporate jet, and decided to take the train back due to the forecasted high winds. Turns out it was a good decision, because the airport closed anyway.
My flight in yesterday morning was the most unpleasant flight I think I've ever had. I walked off the plane visibly rattled and had to go into the bathroom and splash myself with cold water. I've NEVER felt so unsafe as I did yesterday morning, and I never feel unsafe on aircraft usually even in bad conditions.
