VS - HKG-SYD Flights

Whats the deal with the rights on this route? last I heard that the decision on VS getting the rights was still pending and the flights would initially be operating on a charter basis.

No decision on the HK/UK bilateral was made at the EU 'comitology' session on 3 Nov.

Therefore provisional application of the deal proceeded and VS' launch of HKG-SYD service is OK, and CX has rights (but needs slots...) to have LHR-NYC
