Iowaman,
Those two cities are definitely concerns of mine as well. I think that OKC will end up being alright, but the MSN loads have really fallen off. And thats a really long flight to go and get only 40-50 people. Anyway, the RDD decision doesnt surprise me in the least and it has been dissapointing from day one. The city officials claim that its because we only go in there on Mondays and Fridays and most people cant stay in LAS all week, or even until Monday afternoon for weekend trips. So what should be done? Add a Wednesday flight to see if that helps? Well, I guess its obvious what G4 has decided to do!!!!!!!

It seems they just flew there until the money from the city ran out.
That appears to be the way many routes are coming about, these days. I do not see Hooters Air in Rockford,Il for too long.
Maybe G4 should start Stockton,CA since they have no service and a lot larger population base.
Or Pasco/Richland/Kennewick,WA. But maybe too much service at PSC.
Gem State Airlines..."we have a gem of an airline"

I'm not surprised either since they've had poor loads from the get-go. I noticed that while I've been browsing the reservations page. It was pretty rare to see the fares change to higher prices on the RDD-LAS line.

Anyone know what the loads at LAN have been like? Just curious.

I was just looking at the reservations page and it looks like all the other routes are doing fairly well, with the exception of RDD. I was actually surprised to see Bellingham and OKC doing pretty well. OKC already has one sold-out day.
LAN has a fairly bumpy start when Planet (I think) was doing some subservice for them. But I've seen some pretty full flights on the LAN-LAS route.
In my opinion, I think EVV would do pretty well. Did I hear at one time that Champaign/Urbana was trying to woo Allegiant? I would be interested to see what city Allegiant will pick next.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think RDD is only other city G4 has cancelled other than BTR (which never started) since the rejuvenation of the airline.

Wedgetail,
You are correct. RDD is the only city we have pulled out of after having started service there. I'm sorry thet advanced bookings for BTR didnt work out, but maybe they would work out from BTR to SFB or some other Florida destination. We'll see.

it makes sense that the drive to SFO is to long, even though people on this forum will deny it, and that they have SFO, LAX, PHX service with CR2, CR7, EMB120, SBB340.....on AA, UA, HP....comon G4!!

I think Champaign-Urbana would be a good choice for Allegiant. How is the Peoria service doing? They could probably offer service from most cities in Central Illinois and get a terrific response.

I saw on Allegiant's website that DSM will be going down a flight to four flights a week. I wonder how the loads at DSM have been doing, especially since they invested in that location by having employees based here.
