I wasn't really expecting this, since WN already serves LAS-BOI. This way AW can keep another CR9 moving.

America West Announces New Service Between Las Vegas and Idaho's Capital City

Airline to Initiate New Nonstop Service Between Las Vegas and Boise, Idaho

PHOENIX, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA - News) is pleased to announce continued expansion at its Las Vegas hub with new jet service to Boise, Idaho starting on March 1, 2005. With the addition of the new Boise service, the airline will serve 56 nonstop destinations from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, more than any other carrier. America West Express, operated by Mesa Airlines, will provide the new service utilizing the 86-passenger Candadair Regional Jet 900 (CRJ900). Flight schedules are listed below.
"Customers will enjoy the increased travel benefits and opportunities as our Las Vegas hub expansion continues in 2005," said Dion Flannery, vice president, route planning, scheduling and Internet distribution. "In 2004, America West added 15 new nonstop destinations from Las Vegas."

The sample fare listed below is available only on http://www.americawest.com?c=12270816Boise, is one way based on round trip travel, and is valid for the days and times specified below.

Cool. Nice to hear we get more service, and that's always nice. Now every time my Dad goes to work, he can see yet another CRJ-900 flight, lol. I'm sure he'll love that while flying in his -700  Nuts.

Look for more flights out of LAS. Some are in addition to current ones and others, one in particular is a new nonstop to an existing station. HPX will be introducing a new city in the next few weeks. Service to LAS (once daily) and PHX (twice daily). I can't say what the city is of course because it hasn't been announced yet. You'll have to guess! hehe
