1. UA has Channel 9 for passengers to hear ATC.

2. JL & NH have cameras that allow pax not sitting in the window a forward view for landing plus take-off. A downward and forward view when the landing gears are up are offered also.

I have not been on a plethora of airlines but does any other carriers worldwide offer these kind of services.

EK has both the forward and downward looking cams on their 777-300's. It's awesome to watch a landing at night. I flew HKG BKK r/t twice on EK. I love the cams. Downward is really only helpful during the day.

I wonder if perhaps they are not allowed in the US for some reason? Or maybe US Airlines are too cheap to option for them.

Sometimes we don't realize the good times when we're in them

EK has them on the A330s as well as the B772s. Probably the other big planes too.

If I am not mistaken, I believe SAA has tail mounted cameras in their A346s.

OS/NG has cams on board the T7's too, unfortunately no tail-cam, that looks so cool.
Havent heard of any other airline offering the "channel 9".
