Best airports. So now that you've made this post, I'm left wondering if it's the best airports for:

Connecting
Aesthetics
Finding Drug Stashes
Getting laid in the bathroom
Getting kidnapped by international terrorists
Getting kidnapped by the military and taken to secret underground prison...

More specifics please.

Denver is, simply, a fabulous facility.

MCO I like fine.

Never been to HKG.

Nosedive...clearly you've never been to Detroit. The drug dealers in Detroit can't afford to fly. It's a really nice airport, and it doesn't deserve the bad rap it gets. I think DTW should change its code to RLS or something (something that's not taken) and call itself the Romulus/SE Michigan International, since people can't seem to get over their biases about Detroit.

This story was on the local Orlando news and I believe it was "Friendiest" Airport... not simply the "best"... They took into account the facilities, shopping, restaurants, etc...

I was there this summer, thanks for knowing me so well

Sure, but Smith still looks like crap....maybe I should have bestowed the honors of aesthetics to a former NW terminal instead of a current one? (Oh, and before the MEM guys jump my ass, I lived there for most of my life). Speaking of MEM/DTW comparisons, people dog MEM all the time, including myself...yet we can take it in stride  Big grin

I often refer to suburban Denver as "Sh*t town." Guess what. I'm from there.

Nosedive,
Out of curiosity, when did you connect in TUL? It's my hometown airport, great little place.

Yes MCO is a fantastic airport. Light and bright throughout. Going to HKG next year so I will let you know my views on that when the time comes!

MCO - Airside 1 and 3 need a lot of work. True the hurricanes added to the problem, but those 2 airsides are real out dated. The terminals are nice, and the other 2 airsides are eye pleasing, I'm suprised we got 'friendliest' though.
