Just to elaborate, 303/304 are operated with a 717 and 301/1753 are operated with a 73G.

"Is business class the same on both the B737 and the B717?
Joe: Both are 717's and the 737 NG's both are configured for our business class with 12 seats in three (3) rows of two (2) and two (2). Emergency exit row on the 737-700 series is row 18 three (3) and three (3) across; you get the extra leg room afforded to emergency row seating but this row does not recline. On our 717's Emergency Exit rows are 21 and 22. Both have the additional leg room; 21 seats are non reclining, row 22 reclines. Enjoy your flights with us. I've flown both our 717's and 737's. I like them both. I can't wait for the XM radio to come on board.
Slightly off this topic but, on Friday 17 December if you are traveling to or from Mickey's house MCO, 737 service starts its regular stint at BWI! MCO to BWI FL flight # 472 departs MCO 1120 arrives BWI 1327 BWI to MCO FL flight # 477 departs BWI 1412 arrives MCO 1630

Zippyjet, I'm taking you work for FL? If so, what do you do?
I am flying AirTran from LGA to ATL, than onto DEN. Then from DEN I'm flying to LAX on F9. And from LAX, I'm flying to PHF via ATL on DL. All in business/first class except the DEN-LAX, and the ATL-PHF as there is no first.
I am verrrry excited, but its in February...so I have to wait a while.

IslipWN Thanks for asking; I'm a customer service agent at BWI for FL. I'm the vampire agent, I start on the ticket counter then man and entertain and enlighten at the gates for our terminating flights. I hope you get window seats and have great flights. Maybe you will get a bird with the XM radio.
Regarding the new livery I'm guessing 10% is the cool looking mighty white and the other 90% are the buff backgrounds. I like both livery schemes.

"Zippyjet,
What kind of benefits do you get with FL?"
Joe: We get a choice of different medical plans. Company pays most we have our deductions out of pay check. We can fly free stand by Non Revenue, after being with the company for a year I believe, we can participate in the stock option plan which I'm part of. Significant other, the kiddies, and or parents can fly free too. And, you gotta pet? If it is canine or feline, and under 15 lbs. Then they can fly in the cabin with you. For more of the "411" I'll give you a handy dandy easy link to our website.

Hey 717-200,
Is AirTran going to move to A24 at RDU or not? If so, will they move to the South Baggage claim with WN/US or no?

ERJ170,
They already use the old terminal baggage, so it doesn't matter if they change gates.

"717-200,
Will all of the 717's be fitted with the new scheme?"
From what I've been told, all our birds will get the new livery; both 737 NG's and our 717's. I've said it before and I'll say it again; The new livery looks even better in the flesh in person! Night or day.

Just to update a few previous posts. There are currently 11 planes with the new livery. All of the 73G's (ship numbers 300-307) and 3 of the 717's (ship numbers 742, 743, 744). The existing 717's will be repainted when they are taken off-line for heavy mx.

Does anyone know how the XM radio modifications are going? How many are updated and have there been any difficulties installing XM?
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you to their level and beat you with experience.

Vatveng... I've noticed your signature was TakeORF! Do you live near ORF? I fly WN into ORF a lot. I think that ORF really needs some new airlines and needs to remodel parts of the airport. ORF and PHF are on my list of favorite airports. I actually have a whole trip report with 35 pictures from ISP-BWI-ORF, but the pics won't work so I don't even bother putting it up.
I know that I will have a great stay in VA. I usually go to Hampton/Newport News. Its so nice. I am thinking about moving to VA when I am done with college. It SO SO SO SO much cheaper in VA.

Norfolk is doing some major renovations currently. I think they are adding a concourse and remodeling the other, right? they still have several empty gates.. I remember the day when you could walk all the way to the gates at ORF.. it was pretty cool.. nice new fresh departures hall...

ERJ170,
The rumor around here is that we are going to A24 but nothing official
from management. The RDUAA did install a new jetway on A24 this past
week to replace the one USAirways removed when they lost A24. With
DL getting more RJ flights soon it is looking more and more likely we will
move to A24. It would be nice to have our own gate area at 24. No
more of those annoying canned DL gate annoucements interrupting
our flight annoucements!
