Getting 737 From JFK-India

As the photo at that link is a 777 (and not a 737), I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they "can" fly it... Big grin

The pix is a 777 which I'd assume would have no problem. 737 would probably have to stop for a splash and go.

They usually fly from BFI to someplace like KEF or RKV and then fly them to wherever they need to go. Asian flights can go BFI - ANC - then to Korea or Japan, or they go BFI - HNL - HKG or the like.

Believe it or not it can be done, they sometimes add extra fuel tanks, or make lots of little stops. I must say you have to have some guts flying a small single engine plane over the north Atlantic. But back to the original question they land at a bunch of airports en-route to there final destination!

There are quite a few pilots who make their living doing the delivery runs with ferry tanks installed. It's a solitary life as their speeds aren't exactly airliner rates!

And one of the Air Saharas CRJ being roted through Helsinki {HEL}
