After laying off 12 top managers and freezing 35 open management positions, Aloha is asking clerical and ramp employees for more concessions. Aloha would like these employees to:

-Make a temporary, 3 year 10% wage cut permanent (which was agreed upon so that AQ could get their loan guaranteed approval by the ATSB)
-Another 10% wage cut in addition to the previous 10%
-Take back a 2% increase that went into effect Dec 1
-Pay 25% of their medical/dental premiums (employees currently pay nothing)
-Change overtime rules, including eliminating double time
-Reduce vacation and holidays
-Eliminate all contract grievances
-Extend the contract till April 2009

It is expected that all employee groups will be asked to take the same concessions. Aloha also announced a 4th straight quarterly loss of $6 million for the 3rd quarter.
