Hi all, I just saw a DL 767 @ EWR. Is the visitation of DL wide bodies going to be a regular again @ EWR or is it a charter for the Seahawks today?
Also, with the plans of renovation/expansion of terminal B , do you think we will see larger planes coming in, or maybe it will be taken over by even more ERJs and 737s?
Thanks in advance and HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON TO ALL.

Could have just been an equipment substitution for all we know....there's 7 Mad Doggies and 3757's in there, as well as 1 732 in there for good measure. Coulda been that a 757 went down and a 767 was the only thing on the reserve list at the time.

In the past, 767s have frequently been scheduled and substituted in on ATL-EWR runs around the holidays.
Had a great flight on New Year's Eve 2002 ATL-EWR on a 767-332 domestic ship, packed to the gills, with a great crew and free-flowing champagne all the way up. The kids had a ball with flight attendants making newspaper hats, exchanging jokes and funny stories, and trivia contests with headsets, amenity kits (I wonder how they got in there?), and of course the contents of the liquor kits as prizes. Memorable flight, concluding with everyone singing "Auld Lang Syne" as we taxied in to Terminal B just after 12am!

Occassionally, there are 767's of DL's in EWR. I remember my friends last trip before she got furloughed and then went to song was SAN-EWR on the 76-300. Also like said up top they sometimes do the ATL run. God knows CO'S are always ALWAYS full and they only run the 73-500/300 on that route.
