Apparently, a LAN Airlines 767-300 flew across the South Pacific 'the other day' (to quote my source in NZ) and is thought to be ex Asiana HL7268.
Anyone know anything about it, rego, route, callsign, true or not? etc

Maybe it's the recently-acquired CC-CCZ? The aircraft type is listed as "Boeing 767-383(ER)", despite HL7268 being a Boeing 767-38E(ER), but that could be due to the photographer hearing "3" instead of "E". Or it could be the also recently-acquired CC- CGN.

OB1504, I'm not sure.
I do have further info though.
The flight was 'LAN9834' type B763 Taipei-Papeete 14/12/04 local. Confirmed as ex Asiana HL7268 but no Chile rego known yet.

Yes, I heard two days ago that the most recent aircraft in the fleet was being picked up in Asia during these days....here it is confirmed by you...that makes it 15 767's in the LAN pax system.
We'll have to wait a few days for the Chilean registration.
