Hello,
I'm planning to go to Ecuador in March and I looking for business class tickets...All my family will go with IB points but there aren't enough for me so I have to buy a ticket...
I have seen that Lan Ecuador has a good offer, 2000 € round trip from MAD, with a Boeing 767-300.
Does anyone know who is the service in business class and if the plane is an ex-Lan Chile.

It's not a Lan Chile former a/c, it's a LAN CURRENT aircraft. LAN shares all the fleet among the entire network, so you will get a much better service than Iberia.

Thanks for your answer. I just have call to LAN to make a reservation and they even told me that I can earn points in my Iberia Plus...
Are the business seats of the 767 like the one in the A340? If yes...I can't wait for the flight after the great experience I had this year flying LAN from SCL to AKL.

LAN is excellent in terms of service, but I will also recommend you take AV thru BOG....AV´s biz class is great; 56" pitch, 2-1-2 configuration on 767s, nice food, the best colombian coffee, amazing FAs and good PTVs and you get 757 to UIO.

I flown with LA in April 04 from Santiago de Chile to Auckland...

AV's is a little bit more expensive...but I will look to the prices as maybe I will flight back from CCS or BOG to don't go back to UIO. the reason is because we will expend one week in Ecuador / Galapagos and one week in Costa Rica...
