Heard it in the news this morning, that an aircraft slided from the runway during landing in FRA because of ice-forming on the runway. Does someone know which aircraft and airline it was?
Regards
Bruno

it was an eurowings ATR 72, nothing happened. some delays for arrivals, but all ok. plane came from münster/osnabrück. it happened yesterday evening, all 28 passengers on board could continue their journey.

Yes, HAWK21 - it's winter now and we have these weather conditions right now. What happened yesterday (wednesday), was a frozen ground but temperature got higher. So snow changed into rain but the ground was still frozen. And that's more dangerous than just simple snow.

And it's nice to see that not only cars or trains have delays due to that weather, it's also the plane. As much as I heared FRA as Europe's most in time hub has a in-time-rate of 76 %, which is less than Deutsche Bahn has (92%).
