American Airlines and LanPeru have applied with DOT for both codesharing services and anti-trust immunity.

LanPeru will place their code on AA's 14 weekly MIA-LIM and 7 weekly DFW-LIM flights, as well as domestic services operated by AA.

American will place their code on LP's 11 weekly MIA-LIM flights, as well as domestic services operated by LP.

American already codeshares with LAN on JFK-LIM and LAX-LIM, which are LanChile flights, not LanPeru.

Good for American and LanPeru, but not great for customers. AA/LP will have a dominating position in the US-Peru markets, including all four daily flights between Miami and Lima.
