I was at KSAT yesterday and I was listening to ATIS. For the notice to airmen it said, "HO HO HO Merry Christmas." I thought this was quite humorous, but I was wondering if many other places do that and isn't this against FAA regulations?

MDW's atis currently has something similar in it's Notice To Airmen:

"Mary Christmas Eave"

I guess they had to spell it weird so the computer would understand it..

Right after the Cubs blew game 7 against the Marlins in the 2003 NLCS, ATIS at ORD said "Go Cubs.... We'll get them next year."

Its a shame that was in 2003 and us Cubs fans suffered through another "We'll get them next year" kind of season in 2004.

We'll get them next year.

What do I know? I just fly 'em.......
