What airlines do you need those "special" numbers for?

Trivia: Pan Am's phone number used to be 1-800-221-1111

You may not notice but in the days of rotary telephones that was the easiest 800 number to dial. (1's were not permitted in the first two digits.)

This leads me to believe that Pan Am must have had some kind of connections and been either the first or one of the first 800 numbers.

I seem to believe that number goes through to Delta today but I haven't tried it.

United4Ever-- what about 800-241-6522? That is the number we always give out for UA reservations.

I'm sorry, ma'am, I don't work for the airline.
