Hey guys, could anyone provide a list containing the different types of a/c used by Delta between ATL and BOS?

Thanks!

From the current schedule-

M88
763
738

They have a good spread of those three, I've seen 757 and 732 in there before too so just depends on the schedule.

As of 10th January, 2005:

DL852/539/1288/1164/884 = M88
DL350/566/1085/438/1880 = 763
DL266 = 738
DL1112 = 752

Other aircraft might operated the aforementioned flights on different days, but it’s clear that the M88 and 763 operate the vast majority of the flights between ATL and BOS.

As of Feb 1, 2004 (after the transformation):

Delta 350/859/1183/230/430/1085/768 ----> All MD88
Delta 1140/934/1276 ----> All 757
Delta 199/711/1880 ----> All 763
Delta 756 ----> 762
Delta 244 ----> 738

Majority will be MadDoggs screaming into BOS

I'll be flying ATL-BOS on Feb 13rd and BOS-ATL on Feb 21st. I'll try to book myself on a 763 or 762. What can I expect if I fly coach?

Edit: I just found out in seatguru.com that DL's M88 dont have any kind of IFE. So I guess I'll try to avoid a M88 flight.

The same aircraft as the passengers in business and first, I should think.  Laugh out loud

Hey Luis,

I recomend you fly the 767 if you are loking for a good IFE, I personally hate the MD88 since I have flown them so many times and they are everywhere in DFW.

Why not have the 752 one way and the 763 the other? Best of both worlds! Big grin

they are pretty much identical experiences...i personally prefer the 752 just because i get stuck on 762/3/4 just about everytime i fly. DL MD88 are good airplanes, i especially enjoy these airplanes because rows 1-15 are practically silent. even on takeoff and landing, there is almost zero engine noise. Not to mention the seats are comfortable and seat pitch is generous (except the one ship with the new interior, the new seats aren't broken-in and are hard as rocks.)

Side note: I don't think DL offers IFE to boston other than their generic show "delta horizons," but i could be wrong.

Does DL have only one M88 in the new interior? I flew ATL-BDL yesterday on a DL M88 w/ the new interior. I wasn't that impressed w/ the pics, etc, but changed my mind when I entered the cabin yesterday. It looks good in person.

There are a number of MD-88s with the new interior. I believe it was one a week getting the change from A.Nutter DalMd88 if I remember correctly.
