In February I am heading to spend a few months in Granada, Spain. The easiest way for me to get there is easyJet to Malaga from Belfast, but the problem is the flight doesnt arrive in AGP until nearly 10pm. I would need to stay in a hotel for the first night, so does anybody know of any ones that are cheap and convenient to the airport. I have found a few good ones in Torremolinos and the like but am not sure if its easy to get there so late at night.
Also, does anybody have any advice on getting to Granada. I assume there are bus stations in the main resorts as well as Malaga.
One last thing, I haven't booked easyJet yet as I would much prefer to travel earlier in the day, so does anybody know if there are any charter flights? I would need a one way ticket, and all the UK tour operators website make it very difficult to find any flight only tickets from Belfast.

I have found you a very good flight for £69 one way on the 06 FEB 2005 from BFS-AGP on MyTravel Airways. That includes taxes, charges and an in-flight meal. The flight is MYT917 and departs BFS at 14:25 and arrives AGP 18:20 local time:

Thanks, that is very helpful and worth considering! Where did you find it because I can hardly find any charters ex. BFS?
I now have a problem coming home for easter because a return with easyJet is coming to just over £200! The AGP-BFS is fairly cheap and I am taking it with a friend April 20th, but returning on the 26th March is ridiculously dear? Do you know if there's any alternative on that date?

If you are arriving as late as 10 PM you could take the bus from the airport to the city centre and stop on the way (5 min from the airport) on the Novotel hotel or the Ibis (both hotels are very near each other). IBIS is aprox.57 euros a night and the Novotel should be near the same.
Then to get to Granada just take the bus to the bus or train station and thats it. If you need anymore help just ask away...

Dmerinop -- If you don't mind another question... I'm planning to spend a few days in Marbella in February (staying at the Westin resort), flying into AGP. I'd rather not rent a car. What would be your best suggestion for transportation between (to/from) AGP and the resort? I had looked at pre-arranged taxi, but wasn't sure if there was a better option (pre-arranged limo was a bit too expensive) Thanks!

Remember that the Tour Operators run transfer coaches for the holiday guests. Most resort airports will sell you a seat on the coach, either to your hotel (if they use it) or to a central point within the resort, like a bus station. Expect to pay approx £10 rtn.
aAs for hotels, again, many of the large tour operators will, at big resorts such as AGP, sell their excess bedstock at the airport for really low prices. Worth considering.

Well there´s a few ways to get to Marbella.
You could take the bus wich runs aprox. every hour and will take you to Marbella but I´m not sure if stops near the Westin....
Limo or taxi would be the better way. And you wouldnt really need to pre book a taxi, there is always plenty of taxis waiting at the arrivals entrance.

I found the flights at MyTravel.com but I would recommend using the call center (0870 238 7777) as they will be able to arrange a hotel and transfer for you aswell, if you so desire.
For your return back to AGP on the 26th March MyTravel can offer a seat for £115 on the 27th. There is nothing else as far as I know. It is the same flight as above only it departs/arrives 25 minutes later.
