ATA 753'S How Old?

Anyone know how old these aircraft (that are heading to CAL) are and what kind of condition they are in?

only a few years old. The only thing that CO has to worry about is retrofitting the interiors.

And they don't even have to worry about that... part of the deal included Boeing doing it for them!

CO is aquiring 8 of the 12 ATA 757-300s, Boeing is covering the costs of converting to CO's (ie paint, interior).

WOW. I hadn't heard of this news. Guess I haven't been keeping up too good on ATA. Glad I got to fly on one of these beauties with ATA in 2002.

So I take it that the 757-300s will only fly Hawaii, or will the PHH flights be downgraded to 757-200s? I would have thought they would have kept some of the 300s for military flying.

CO will take the 753's from Boeing, so the big question is whether Boeing takes all 12 back from TZ or just the 8 that will go to CO ...
