I am sure many of you will call me a copycat of Cathay744, but I must ask, can anybody provide me with a list of top 30 busiest airports in the world in order from busiest to least busy? I can already come up with a few that have to be among the busiest: LHR, JFK, NRT, HKG, ATL, ORD...but can anybody tell me the busiest airports in the world in order? Thank you very much.

The figures on the website from the link above are not correct. Try this site:

http://sezame.aci.aero/cda/aci/display/main/aci_content.jsp?zn=aci&cp=1-5-54_9_25__

Here you get data for passenger-, movement- and cargo figures for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 as well as the monthly and year to date data for 2004 (the latest figures this time are till September)

Give the guy a break - "try doing a search".

Isn't Airliners.net about sharing this type of information, or at best where to find it.

Goomba - a question like that could have been found easily by doing a google search. Or even ask.com as unhelpful as that is.

with the exception of ATL and FRA, the #'s don't match, so in essence Munich is correct. However the variance in #'s is small and trivial.

hm has FRA always been busier than CDG (granted by a small non significant difference, but still) or is this new? I have always thought that CDG was the second in europe after LHR.

Parisien,

Don't forget that Frankfurt is served by only one airport : FRA
Paris is served by two major airports : CDG (48 220 436 PAX) + ORY ( 22 500 000 PAX ).
