Well, it finally happened...

Mexicana made it's last flight into HMO today from MXL and to MEX after 70 years of non-stop service, in a very rare and rainy day in the also know as "Ciudad del Sol". It's a shame to see this happen.

How many of the other cities in the "black-list" have also lost service?

MX was supposed to start service to DTW, is AM going to do this or the plans have been scrapped?

Speaking of AM, they will be adding two new flights to cover for MX's lack of presence here. Also, Lineas Aereas Azteca started flights to HMO last week from MEX, MTY, CUU and TIJ. Welcome and good luck to them, it's nice to see new liveries in here. They will take over MX's counters at HMO.

BTW, Happy New Year to everyone and you better fasten your seatbelts, it looks like it's going to be a very bumpy year for Mexican aviation.
